Organ Meditations at Grace Church in New York is a series of informal recitals that happens each Saturday and Sunday at 802 Broadway and East 10th Street--"subject to the liturgical calendar and other special observances," of course.

This Saturday, organist Patrick Allen performed a wonderful concert of music from Dietrich Buxtehude, J.S. Bach and Nicolas DeGrigny. Just listen for yourself:

Like what you hear? Plan on attending the inauguration of the new organ this Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. The free concert is offered by the combined Grace Church choirs with Dr. Barry Rose conducting.

On Friday, May 10 at 8 p.m., The Choral Society of Grace Church in New York will present Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B Minor, BWV 232. John Maclay, music director, will lead the performance.

General admission tickets are $25. To purchase before May 10 by PaylPal or credit card, visit www.thechoralsociety.org
