Today...Chopin, Nocturne #1 in B-flat Minor.

Once again, James picks Samson François' Chopin. Giving the left hand's eighths just the right rubato, that other hand's free to work out every polyrhythm. What to make, however, of the raised third that brings this first of Opus 9 to cadence? Is James trying to whisper in the dark? Your guess is as good as ours.
