QB Tony Romo Guarantees Dallas Cowboys Win This Super Bowl

The preseason hasn't even begun, but the predictions are starting to fly out of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's mouth. But with all the excitement and proclamations bring expectations that the season will be a bust without the win of the Super Bowl this year. The veteran QB is finally feeling healthy and believing that the young team has developed into a championship caliber club.

Towards the end of his acceptance speech for the Nancy Lieberman Lifetime Achievement Award, the quarterback acknowledged Lieberman and gave the bold statement says USA Today Sports For The Win:

"This award is very meaningful to me, mostly because I get to be associated with this and to be associated with Nancy. It's incredible and I really appreciate you, and we're going to win a Super Bowl next year."

With the decrease in pressures last season, more emphasis on the running attack and some key additions on both lines, Romo now believes more than ever this is the Cowboys' year. His prediction doesn't seem so wild once you hear his take on the team. The Dallas Morning News got the scoop on how Romo feels the team has progressed:

"I just think the way Jason and Stephen and Jerry have built this team over the last three or four years has been from the inside out and you're seeing the benefits of that. We're still going. This wasn't a one-year, two -- we're building this for the next five, six, seven years to sustain and any time you get an opportunity to get a guy like Collins you should take advantage of that."

The Cowboys do seem to be in a better position than last year to make a run at the Super Bowl with all the weapons they possess, but will the bold public prediction come back to haunt Romo throughout the year and spoil the playoff struggling quarterbacks Super aspirations? Tell us what you think.
