‘Glee’ Reunion: Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin Team Up in New ‘Supergirl/Flash’ Crossover
Tonight, Glee fans are in for a special treat. Marley Rose actress Melissa Benoist and Sebastian Smythe actor Grant Gustin are coming together into tonight’s all new Supergirl/Flash crossover special, “The World’s Finest.”
Recently, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the crossover, saying:
"I honestly didn't think it was possible. Everyone would ask me and I was like, 'Eh, I don't know. That might never happen,' but in the back of my mind, I knew it would be so fun and everyone would freak out and love it."
Flash/Barry Allen actor Grant Gustin also opened up about the opportunity to bring the two heroes together, adding:
"The first day on set, I was standing with Melissa in her suit and I was in my suit and I just turned to her and I'm like, 'I'm so happy. To be here doing this together is pretty special, pretty cool."
Be sure to tune into the Glee reunion episode of Supergirl, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on CBS. Supergirl also stars She Loves Me star, Tony Winning actress Laura Benanti and Bonnie & Clyde star Jeremy Jordan
The Flash airs Tuesday night’s at 8:00 p.m. eastern on The CW, and also stars RENT vet Jesse L. Martin and Urinetown actor Tom Cavanagh.
