Sarah Darling is making quite the name for herself even without the aid of ABC’s Rising Star. The talented singer/songwriter was booted from the new series, but that won't stop her from shining. Darling recently performed at the Grand Ole Opry with Brad Paisley where the performed a duet of his hit song, “Whiskey Lullaby.” Meanwhile the up and coming songstress has just landed a deal as one of Durango Boots new fashion ambassadors.
Recently Sarah Darling was cut from ABC’s Rising Star, but Brad Paisley wasn’t ready to let go of her. Following the episode, Paisley tweeted:
“I'm sure it's a bummer, but try to hold your head up high. You're fantastic. See ya at the Opryhouse. @_SarahDarling”
Paisley kept his word and the pair performed his hit song “Whiskey Lullaby” this past weekend.
Darling will also return to the Opry tonight, posting about the appearance on Facebook:
“Excited for my 61st Grand Ole Opry appearance tonight! Doing 3 songs, two of which I have never sang at the Opry before. Guess which 2 songs they are and I will pick one winner from those answering correctly, and send you an autographed program from this evening!”
Darling has recently signed a deal with the Durango Boot fashion line.
Durango’s Marketing Manager Amber Vanwy recently spoke about adding Darling to their brand, via a press release:
“Sarah has been such an incredible brand ambassador for us and her personal style really resonates with our consumer. These styles are flirty, fun and feminine; they are the perfect mash-up of Sarah’s whimsical style and Durango’s playful attitude toward fashion.”
Darling herself commented on the deal, writing:
