Word has it that Instagram Sex and the City's shoes and feet model Sarah Jessica Parker and her allegedly cheating husband Matthew Broderick are going to be divorcing following a failed attempt to save their marriage by taking a vacation to Ireland. According to the latest tabloid gossip news updates the spark has gone out of Carrie Bradshaw and Ferris Bueller's marriage, and all that is left now is to split up the net worth, work out the child custody rights and start dating new people.
Reports first surfaced months ago that Sex and City icon Sara Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were losing interest in their 17-year-marriage.
Now rumors insist that despite the couple giving it one more go--even going so far as jetting off to spend time together in romantic Ireland--Jess and Matt are just about ready to throw in the towel.
A supposed insider told Star Magazine for their August 4, print edition that the entire Guinness getaway just confirmed that they are no longer a good fit:
"They spent most of the time locked away in their cottage.
"One night they went to Nancy's, a seafood restaurant, but hardly said one word to each other."
During their stay in Ireland, Sarah did take the time to make at least one person's romantic vacation come true.
According to the Washington Post, Parker popped in at the Lough Eske Castle Hotel to make take picture with lucky bride Máire O'Flynn who just happened to be in the building at the same time:
"She sent some of the staff to get me from the dance floor just as she was leaving, and I went out and got a lovely picture with her and she was very kind
"She said that I looked beautiful and hoped that I was having a great day. She also mentioned that my bridesmaid looked fabulous, which was great.
"It was a nice addition to the day and added a bit of celebrity status to the occasion."
The insider, who spoke to Star, claimed that ultimately Máire's joy just reminded Sarah of what she no longer has:
"[Sarah] seemed envious of their happiness."
Well...that's a little a dark.
