For months now, there have been rumors that suggest Beyonce Knowles and her allegedly cheating husband, Jay Z, are headed towards divorce. The latest breakup rumors, which follow Jay Z being attacked in an epic elevator fight, could lead to Beyonce reigning supreme, claims a popular website.
By now, we've all heard rumors that Jay Z and Beyonce could be calling things off. To make matters worse for Jay Z, a popular website is predicting that a divorce would benefit Bey way more than Jay.
A July 25 article on Vox suggests that the divorce rumors are likely untrue. But if they are, Beyonce will capitalize on the split:
"[The Divorce] will shake out in her favor. If Beyoncé and Jay-Z part ways, the non-believers who think her success is largely dependent on her husband will no longer have an argument...So if a divorce is in the cards, if love does indeed die and the world catches fire and burns, Beyoncé will still be the last woman standing. She calls the shots."
Amid the slew of divorce rumors, a few publications are offering up hope for the couple. Popular British publication The Mirror is reporting that Jay Z and Beyonce have actually entered couple's therapy. According to the insider, Jay and Bey have been attending sessions online, using Skype:
"They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings. It's about maintenance rather than trying to fix anything hugely wrong. They are both happy and their daughter, Blue Ivy, remains their absolute priority."
