‘Sherlock’ Benedict Cumberbatch Talks Kahn Return In ‘Star Trek 3,’ ‘American Horror Story’ Zachary Quinto Doubts ‘Heroes: Reborn’ Comeback [SPOILER] [COMIC-CON] [REBOOT]

When we last saw Benedict Cumberbatch as KHAN!!!!! in Star Trek 2: Into Darkness he was put on ice. Now the Sherlock actor is opening about a possible return to the franchise. However, the more logical Spock actor, Zachary Quinto is doubtful that Khan will return in Star Trek 3. Quinto is also known for his roles on American Horror Story and NBC’s Heroes. Where fans want Quinto to return to both show’s, he has recently confirmed that he will not be back for the Heroes: Reborn.

During the Comic-Con festivals, MTV got the chance to speak with Benedict Cumberbatch about a few things. Of course it wouldn't be Comic-Con if they didn’t talk Star Trek. During the interview Cumberbatch opened up his possible return to the franchise:

“Maybe. He is in a freezer…we have all defrosted chicken in our day…Set the toaster to defrost and he will come out all bad and angry again. I don't know. It depends on what direction they are going to take. There is definitely room for him to come back in some shape or form.”

However, Spock isn’t so sure about Khan’s return. Zachary Quinto also stopped and spoke with MTV, where he commented on Cumberbatch’s return:

“Any chance to work with Benedict…But I don't know if it is now or later. I don't know what they have in store for Ben? I would love to have him back.”

Quinto also opened up about the new Heroes: Reborn reboot, commenting:

“Tim [Kring, Producer] and I have actually been in touch. I love Tim Kring, I love what he does. His imagination, his mind, and his ability to execute it are all so impressive. He brought me in early, you know? He really changed my whole life in so many ways. I feel so excited for them, that they’re doing it again...He has new, creative ideas that he wants to put out there, and so do I, in other ways. We have connected about that. I wish them so much good fortune with it, I can’t wait to watch it, but I don’t think I’m going to be a part of it. We’re all on different paths, and that path got me to where I am, but I can’t just go back to it because of that. And I think he understands that.”
