Rumors are flying that Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Nicholas Hoult are headed towards a breakup. These latest rumors, however, follow months of speculation that the two are actually engaged.
When it comes to the tabloids, it seems like they really can't make up their minds. One week, a couple is planning a secret wedding. The next week, they are almost certainly splitting up.
This is certainly the case with Hollywood youth Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.
For months now, tabloids have been reporting that Jen and Nick are secretly engaged and planning their wedding. But a new report suggests that Jen is rethinking her whole relationship.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the couple took a break, and Nick managed to hookup with a number of other women:
"Back in May there were rumors of a hook up between Nick and his newest costar, Kristen Stewart. Of course at the time Jen tried to downplay the situation but the fact is, Kristen likes British men and her type of guy is usually already attached. While Jen may have insisted nothing was happening and that her man didn't cheat, the fact that we haven't seen them together tells another story. At the very least there is trouble in paradise..."
Of course, this report seems in direct contrast with a number of other prominent articles we've seen. This is especially true of a recent article by Hollywood Life.
The popular U.S. gossip website actually claims that Jen and Nicholas are in love and engaged:
"The Hunger Games actress had a turquoise, heart-shaped ring shining on her engagement finger, causing rumors to erupt that she was engaged. Despite it not being a diamond, Jennifer chose to wear it on that special finger, and we wouldn't be at all surprised if Nicholas chose a unique engagement ring like this one for the quirky star."
