Ian Somerhalder has gone and done it now. The Vampire Diaries star spoke to reporters about marriage this past weekend at Comic-Con. That is sure to set off many fans who are still upset with Damon actor for rumored relationship with Nina’s friend Nikki Reed. Ian has been rumored to be dating Reed, after her divorce to American Idol vet Paul McDonald was announced.
During Comic-Con 2014, Ian Somerhalder spoke with E! News about what else, marriage:
“I will be. I will be.”
Of course that comment needed a little clarification, so Somerhalder added:
“I mean eventually, in my life! No, I mean eventually.”
This news is sure to cause an uproar with die-hard Nina Dobrev fans who haven’t reacted well to the rumors that her ex, was dating her close friend.
Somerhalder has received so much hate on social media that he had to address the issue via Instagram, telling fans:
“Ummm, everyone- I hate to break it to you but… You have zero clue what really goes on in other peoples’ lives. It does you or anyone else any good at all to project negative energy out there. There is no harm here, I ask you to back off with your negativity, focus that energy elsewhere In a positive manner and let people live their lives. It’s only fair. Thank you and good night.”
Ian went on to add:
“Feel free to write me back. I’m all ears as long as you are. Compassion compassion compassion--find it, use it, love it. The world needs a GREAT deal more of it.”
