More rumors are flying that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman could be headed towards divorce. That's especially bad news for Urban, whose concert got so many people drunk, rescue personnel had to be called in from five surrounding areas. To make matters worse, it was revealed yesterday that a woman was raped during the show. Though, the tabloids are claiming that it's actually Nicole's behavior that's responsible for the alleged split.
Keith Urban just can't catch a break. Not only has he been tabloid fodder for months now, but a recent concert turned out to be a disaster.
Despite how much fun he had on the stage Saturday night, Urban would probably like to forget his concert at the Xfinity Center in Mass.
First, TMZ reported that over 20 concert goers ended up in the hospital. Though, to be fair, most were just too drunk to function:
"According to local police and fire officials, 46 people were treated and 22 taken to local hospitals...mostly due to drinking. Things were so bad, officials had to activate 'a phase one EMS plan'...which included ambulances from five surrounding communities."
While it's no secret that concert goers enjoy to drink, that wouldn't be the worse part of the evening. Police are now reporting that a teenage girl was raped during the concert.
It should be noted that it was that same unruly crowd that tipped police off. Patrons of the concert offered up photos and video of the alleged assault, which were then taken into custody (via CNN):
"Officers conducting the investigation were assisted by patrons that had been concerned and took photos and video of the assault on their cellular phones. Those phones are being processed to recover the digital evidence of the assault."
As a result, Sean Murphy, who is a teenager himself, was arrested. Mr. Murphy's attorney confirms that the two did have sex, but states that it was totally consensual.
Urban was not immediately made aware of the incident, and actually Tweeted that he loved what the concert goers on the lawn were doing.
You have to cut Keith some slack. After all, he and Nicole Kidman have been on the cover of nearly every major tabloid lately.
The most recent report claims that Keith is ready to call things off with Nicole, because she is allegedly addicted to plastic surgery.
