Lionel Messi doesn't seem too concerned about his current tax troubles. Instead, the Argentinian football star has been spotted cavorting and relaxing off the coast of the Italian island of Ponza on a yacht with his thong-clad girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo. Messi has been accused of tax evasion, but the courts are deciding whether his father Jorge acted of his own accord or if Lionel was involved in the planning or complicit in any way of siphoning off income from image rights into shell corporations, according to Daily Mail UK.
Messi's dad has been busy trying to hide money from the tax man, but Lionel's not off the hook yet (via Daily Mail UK):
"However, the court in Barcelona has decided that Lionel Messi could have known about and approved the creation of a web of shell companies that were allegedly used to evade taxes due on income from image rights."
Instead of worrying about what might happen to him, or wallow in sorrow about his team's World Cup loss, Messi went on vacation (via TMZ):
"#10 was chillin' in a yacht in Ponza -- while 26-year-old Antonella Roccuzzo showed off her thong'd out backside outside of a seaside restaurant filled with lucky patrons.
"For his part, Messi has denied any tax wrongdoing ... and clearly, doesn't seem worried."
