Alien-Like Skulls Discovered In Mexico

News of Alien-like skulls were found in a small Mexican village on the same day the world was suppose to end.

Examiner.com reported that 25 alien-like skulls were found near Onavas in Mexico and archaeologist say that the bones date back to 1,000 years and sported certain cranial deformities, commonly referred to as "head binding."

According to the Examiner, of the 25 human fossil remains discovered, 17 were children, ranging in ages from five months to 15 years of age. The other eight were adults.

In the report some of the bones were decorated, a fact that led Cristina Garcia Moreno, Archeologist with Arizona State University and the National Institute of Anthropology and History to believe that the remains may have been used for ornamentation.

The report said that some of the dead wore nose rings, bangles and pendants made out of sea shells.

"This unique find shows a mix of traditions from different groups of northern Mexico," Garcia Moreno said.

The scientist said 13 of the alien heads were deformed. The group believes the early Mesoamerican people performed the practice of "head binding."

The practice is not uncommon upon native peoples and is seen as a mark of beauty or to distinguish rank or status in a culture and was done intentionally.

Archaeologists say boards were used on 1-year-old infants using two boards applied with pressure on the sides of their heads. The practice went on for about six months.

The alien-like skulls found dated back to the year 943 CE.
