For months now, we've seen reports that Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, who has been accused of cheating on his wife, are headed towards divorce. Now new rumors suggest that Beyonce is breaking up and moving out from under Jay Z's roof, following the elevator fight between her baby daddy and sister, Solange Knowles.
It seems like no matter what Jay Z and Beyonce do, they can't manage to escape the tabloids. Ever since footage was released which shows Beyonce's sister, Solange, assaulting Jay Z in an elevator, Bey and Jay's relationship has been put under even more scrutiny.
The same was true this week, as reports surfaced that claim Beyonce is looking for a place of her own. Reportedly, the two could be calling it quits following the conclusion of their joint tour, which ends on September 12.
But a recent article by Mail Online claims that Beyonce is already planning for the future, one that may not include her husband. According to one insider, Beyonce has been looking at living solo in a new apartment, while Jay Z wants them to go on a private vacation to save their marriage:
"[Jay Z] adores his daughter Blue Ivy and he wants a sibling for her, but Beyoncé isn't sure what she wants to do--their marriage is in flux, that's the truth. Jay just wants them to spend some time alone together to try and work it out."
While neither party has commented on the status of their relationship, Beyonce has been spotted without her wedding ring. And it looks like if a divorce does occur, Beyonce could stand to earn the most.
At least, that's how a recent article posted on Vox makes it seem. The publication told readers that if a split does occur, Beyonce will wind up on top:
"[The Divorce] will shake out in her favor. If Beyoncé and Jay-Z part ways, the non-believers who think her success is largely dependent on her husband will no longer have an argument...So if a divorce is in the cards, if love does indeed die and the world catches fire and burns, Beyoncé will still be the last woman standing. She calls the shots."
