Farmer Derek Klingenberg Calls Cattle Home with Trombone Lorde's "Royals," Ylvis "What Does The Fox Say" Parody

Kanas farmer Derek Klingenberg beckons his cattle with his moooving trombone rendition of Lorde’s “Royals” in the latest viral video sensation, following up on his parody of Ylvis “What Does The Fox Say,” entitled, “What Does The Farmer Say.”

The video is slow to start but at about a minute or so, you can see the first few cows trotting in. More and more cattle eventually start running in from the hills, fast, and sit and wait patiently for lawn chair laden farmer Klingenberg to finish his serenade. At about 3:15, the cows seemingly join in on the chorus, mooing to the hook.

Klingenberg has become the mid-west parody king on his YouTube channel. At 5 million hits, “What Does The Farmer Say” is filled with Miley Cyrus, Twitter and Katy Perry puns, and, of course, a Chiefs' touchdown reference. His other clever covers and parodies include Robin Thicke’s "Blurred Lines," "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" Frozen parody aptly titled “Do You Want To Drive My Tractor” and Mackelmore’s “Thrift Shop,” under the name “Ranching Awesome.” You can spend a good hour on his YouTube channel with more parodies of Ke$ha, PSY, Pharell’s “Happy” and even the Biebs to wit.

Watch below the wondrous “Royals” until the cows come home. It never sounded so good.
