Word has it that despite playing nice for the cameras since the ended their engagement, Nicole Murphy and her Good Morning America fiancé, Michael Strahan, were having terrible relationship troubles before they split. According to the latest gossip news updates, an angry Murphy had to be escorted out of a hotel after insisting her Live with Kelly and Michael! boyfriend was cheating with a woman inside one of their rooms. In a related turn of event, Pat O'Brien calls out day time talk show icon, Katie Couric, for supposedly getting so drunk before an interview at Donald Trump's wedding that it wasn't fit to use on television. Apparently, Patty is trying to sell his new tel- all memoir, but has gone the ole Jose Canseco route of telling everyone else's secrets.
NFL Hall of Famer, Michael Strahan, and his recently split fiancé, Nicole Murphy, seem to be playing the whole calling off an very public engagement pretty well, but some folks insist they didn't handle every day of their betrothment with quite to same amount of class.
A supposed insider who spoke with OK! Magazine for their August 25, issue, claimed that Murphy and Michael have been absolutely miserable for months:
"Michael and Nicole haven't been happy for a while now; and when they did talk, it was mostly arguing.
"She knew that he would be livid if she leaked news if their split during the biggest weekend of his career, but she refused to play the role of doting fiancé any longer."
"There was just no trust anymore...[Nicole was] tired of living a lie.
Thankfully, now that they are apart, Nicole told TMZ that everything is right with the world once again:
"Nicole Murphy addressed her breakup with Michael Strahan for the first time today, and did her best to make it seem like there are NO hard feelings between them.
"Nicole was grabbing lunch in L.A. after a workout when she claimed, 'It's all good'...between her and Strahan."
Katie Couric on the other handle was able to keep it together long enough to get married, but that may have only been because she wasn't expected to talk on camera.
According to In Touch Weekly, who got an advance peak at Pat O'Brien's new memoir, I'll Be Back Right After This, Patty claims that Couric was once too hammered to get throogh an interview:
"Pat claims he did an interview with Katie Couric at Donald Trump's 2005 wedding that never aired because she was so drunk.
"He recalls how Angelina Jolie, pre-Brad Pitt, once joked that she was so horny she needed to find a man to hook up with.
"He also blasts ex-colleagues Nancy O'Dell (for being stupid) and Mary Hart (for being cold)."
Yeah...people aren't really going to find that Angelina Jolie thing all that surprising.
