Wendy Williams apparently isn't taking Real Housewives of Atlanta nemesis NeNe Leakes suggestion that she only focus on the positive to heart. The wig wearing talk show host recently slammed Jessica Simpson for bringing her red hot Instagram bikini body to Ashlee Simpson's bridal shower. Then she turned her attention to Teen Choice Award recipient Cameron Dallas--subtlety suggesting that he was ignorant and would never win again. And just to prove she still has it in her to kick someone when they are down, the TV gossip news queen called out 19-year-old Courtney Stodden's pathetically sad decision to return to her 54-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison, after a presumed separation.
Even though it seems like it would be fairly easy for talk show host Wendy Williams to steer clear of the more salacious celebrity topics, she just can't seem to help herself.
In her latest contribution to the September 1, issue of Life & Style Magazine, the wigged wonder decided to rip Jessica Simpson a new one for taking her fine booty to her sister's bridal party without at first putting on her wedding day burka:
"Jessica Simpson seems unable to stop showing off her hot new bod.
"I don't blame her. But she wore a bathing suit to her sister Ashlee Simpson's bridal shower?
"Keep it covered girl! If I were Jessica, I'd never outshine my little sis on such a big day for her."
Apparently, Wendy felt like 18-year-old Cameron Dallas didn't act at all grateful enough after receiving a teen choice award, so she made fun of him in her usually acerbic fashion (via L&S):
"Teen Choice Award winner Cameron Dallas suggested that the ceremony's rigged and votes don't' matter, because he was told he was winning six days before the show.
"Poor Cam: Now I bet he won't win again!"
Staying in the vein of punking teenagers, Williams also made fun of Courtney Stodden's decision to return to her middle-aged husband:
"I completely understand why little miss Courtney Stodden, 19, has gone back to her 54-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison: No other man will have her!
"But I Still think it is sad that they've decided to recouple."
Maybe, Williams is doing her best to emotionally destroy all the marginal celebs that she can, in order to eventually make them stranger.
During a recent interview with BET, Wendy claimed that it was constant abuse as a child at the hands of her loved ones that made her the woman that she is today:
"I grew up being fat-shamed by my family...My first diet was in the first grade! Tuna fish and mustard with yogurt on the side.
"I was just the girl standing on the side, looking at everybody having fun and saying, 'I can't wait to get out of here and set the world on fire'."
And with any luck that day will eventually come.
