Rumors that Dean McDermott, who has been accused of cheating on his wife, and Tori Spelling are headed towards divorce have begun to wane this week. And that may have a little something to do with Tori's recent Ice Bucket Challenge.
It's the trend that's catching the nation by storm, especially Hollywood, where we see celeb after celeb getting drenched with ice water, in an effort to raise money and awareness for ALS research.
Tori Spelling found herself among the most recent celebs to respond to the challenge. You can check out a video of her getting soaked, along with the following description of Tori's IBC over at our friends at E! Online:
"Spelling's two older children, Liam and Stella, were father Dean McDermott's helpers and poured a giant orange tub of freezing cold water on the blonde...After the initial shock, Spelling nominated her mother to take the challenge herself."
Tori could probably use the good press, considering many media outlets attacked the reality star for allegedly faking her own reality show.
This is especially true of Perez Hilton, who reported that show producers were even setting up fake Twitter accounts:
"Not only have Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott been accused of faking their entire cheating scandal for cameras, but now the people BEHIND the True Tori show are under fire...Reports have surfaced that questions presented to the troubled couple during the reunion show by supposed Twitter fans, were actually from FAKE Twitter accounts."
