New York Philharmonic to offer romantic Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet; pieces from Lutosławski, Shostakovich

New York Philharmonic  will charm the audience with passionate Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet at Avery Fisher Hall, New York City, NY, along with Witold Lutosławski's Chain 2: Dialogue for Violin and Orchestra, and Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5.

Mark the last weekend of January in your calendars for a special event, as the conductor Lorin Maazel, who served as Music Director of the New York Philharmonic from 2002 till 2009, will conduct all three music pieces. Violinist Jennifer Koh will grace the audience with her signature intense performance.
