Apparently, Bravo may be adding a few new wives to the 2014 Real Housewives of Atlanta lineup, perhaps, because they are planning for at least one cast member to opt out of returning after Season 7. Former Dancing with the Stars contestant NeNe Leakes has made it seem via Twitter as though she very much intends to quit the reality series once her contract expires at the end of this run. Kim Zolciak, who seemed to practically hate the entire cast when she was on the show, wouldn't blame her if he did. The Don't Be Tardy star acts as though not being invited back to the show was the back thing that ever happened to her. After Phaedra Parks took a little time away from social media sites like Facebook and Instagram, she returned to Twitter just in time to accidentally leak the premiere air date for the upcoming season. Didn't husband and convicted felon Apollo Nida tell her that snitches get stitches?
This season may be queen bee NeNe Leakes' last on Bravo's the Real Housewives of Atlanta, due to the toxic work environment created by the producer's and the harpies she is forced to call costars.
In a recent Twitter confession, NeNe, who has been there since the beginning, admitted that she was virtually counting the days until she could say goodbye to Bravo:
"Imagine workin wit somebody[sic] who is evil inside & out but yet they want an apology 4 what now? I can't wait 2 be outta this circle! Pray 4 me"
Kim Zolciak, who now has her own VH1 spin-off Don't Be Tardy, explained to In Touch Weekly, that after four-and-a-half seasons on the show no amount of money would have been worth it to stay:
"I was made to look like a wine drinking, raging lunatic! I hated it!
"It got to a point where I felt like I was sacrificing myself for a paycheck. I never knew what I was getting into...[and] I didn't like half of the women on the show, so that made things difficult!"
According to Wet Paint, not only does Phaedras Parks not completely despise the show, she recently got so excited about the premiere that she accidentally let the air date slip on Twitter:
"A fan tweeted at Phae-Phae to let her know that he's been praying for her, later asking about her young sons and noting that he is curious to know when the new season of [Real Housewives of Atlanta] premieres.
"Being the sweet Southern Belle that she is, Phaedra tweeted back, 'they are good thank you so much for asking we will be back first Sunday in November!'"
Well...at least one Housewife will be showing up with bells on.
