Lifelong Laker Magic Johnson has been hanging with crosstown rivals Doc Rivers and Steve Ballmer of the LA Clippers recently. Does this mean he's switching his affiliation? Not a chance in hell, but he is tickled pink that that disgusting racist windbag Donald Sterling is out of the owner's box. While the three were sitting together at a Dodgers game last week, don't expect Johnson to trade in his purple and gold any time soon. Jack Nicholson, on the other hand?...
TMZ noted the irony of Johnson's association with new Clippers owner Ballmer since Sterling's ire toward Magic was the catalyst for the regime change in the first place (via TMZ):
"It's interesting ... considering it was a photo featuring Magic Johnson that led to Donald Sterling's downfall ... when he blasted V. Stiviano for posting a photo of Magic on social media."
Speaking of making changes, Johnson also recently gave LA Sparks coach Carol Ross the boot in favor of GM Penny Toler (via ESPN):
"We had too much talent to be playing that bad. I expected more. The fans expected more. I just said, 'Hey man, we gotta make a change. We can't keep going like this.'"
