Despite the rumors from just earlier this month that American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, and his model girlfriend, Shayhna Taylor, were ready to split after just a few months of dating, some friends claim to be hearing wedding bells. According to the latest gossip news updates, the radio host seems ready to get engaged and risk having to split his singing contest net worth with Shayna. Ryan has claimed that he wants to eventually immolate his parents' relationship of more than forty years, so perhaps they will be showing off a bulging pregnant baby bump soon than later, as well.
Just a few weeks ago, the tabloids were reporting that a split between Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, was as inevitable as snow fall in Colorado.
In OK! Magazine's August 4, issue they quoted one would-be insider who described their fling as a mere distraction from Seacrest's travails:
"He has gun taking her on lavish vacations, but when it comes to his daily life, she's not that big a part of it.
"Ryan gets bored quickly...his work is everything to him.
"Sometimes he acts like he wants to settle down and start a family, but no one believes he ever really will.
"Shayna may think she can change him, but it's only a matter of time before he kicks her to the curbs."
Now, less than a month later, however, Star Magazine's spoke to a supposed friend of Ryan's for their September 8, issue who claimed that Shayna might have actually changed his mind about putting down roots:
"They are so affectionate and sweet together.
"He's ready to settle down...Shayna came into his life at just the right time."
Despite all the speculation about where he and Shayna may or may not be at in their relationship, Star claimed that Ryan admitted in an August 20, interview, that he always wanted a long and happy marriage, someday:
"I look at what my mom and dad had for 40-plus years--a fantastic relationship and a great marriage."
"Someday, I'd like that."
Um...there may be still time for 23-year-old Shayna to get a 40-year marriage in there, but it seems pretty clear that Seacrest is kidding himself.
