The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “Ganging Up,” reads:
“Hank and Evan search for Emma following her disappearance while Paige and Evan discover startling news about Bob. Elsewhere, Jeremiah realizes he needs to make some changes, Divya faces another custody complication, and Boris worries about his illness.”
The show’s executive producer and co-creator, Andrew Lenchewski, recently spoke to TV Guide about Boris buying Hamptons Heritage:
"This was a twist that we initially planned to put in last season's finale. It didn't quite feel like the right time to do it, but we loved the idea. We loved that it could really be a satisfying payoff for everything that Boris and Hank have been going through together, and we also loved that it could really platform a lot of great things to come with Boris at the helm of Hamptons Heritage."
He went on to talk about why Hank hasn’t accept the offer...yet.
“Well, a lot of that will come out in the season finale, but the basis for it really goes back to the pilot. Part of what defined Hank in this series was how he was treated by a board of directors in a hospital system. So, just instinctively to go back and become something that he escaped from and was pushed out from felt like it was going against the grain of who he was.”
The Season 6 finale of Royal Pains airs tonight at 9/8c on The USA Network.
