Rumors that Eva Mendes, who is pregnant with her first child, and Ryan Gosling are headed towards a breakup have finally begun to wane. This development comes after a tabloid claimed to reveal the baby bump's gender.
When it comes to Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, the world is absolutely obsessed with the Hollywood A-lister's relationship. For months, the tabloids reported that Eva and Ryan were going to split.
But when it was revealed that Eva is pregnant with the couple's first child, those rumors took a backseat. The tabloids are still obsessed with Eva and Ryan, they just shifted all of their speculation to Eva's new baby bump.
That is certainly the case with the September 8 print edition of OK! Magazine. As Breathcast reveals, the tabloid suggests that Ryan and Eva are having a boy:
"...Mendes and Gosling have already finished up the nursery and painted it a neutral color. However, the room also has blue accents, which could indicate that they are preparing for a boy...a couple of assistants have been seen coming in and out of Mendes' house with blue baby stuff."
It would certainly be surprising if OK! actually guessed the gender of the child, but then again, this entire pregnancy has been a bit of a surprise.
This is even true for Ryan Gosling, according to Radar Online. The popular U.S. gossip site claims that even Ryan was shocked that Eva was pregnant.
According to one insider, the baby bump caught everyone by surprise:
"[The pregnancy] was completely unplanned. Ryan was surprised, especially because they had broken up early last year, only to get back together... Their disagreements always come back to a central issue: Eva wants to marry Ryan, but so far, he has resisted."
