Mega Millions Lottery Totals After $180 Million Winning Ticket Update: Check Before You Play

No one won this Saturday’s Mega Millions lottery drawing, meaning that the new totals have risen once again. Check out the report for the new totals for tonight’s and the results of the recent $180 million winner.

The new Mega Millions lottery drawing totals have risen to $25 million.

The official Mega Millions lottery website is reporting on the recent big $180 million win:

“SACRAMENTO – The Inland Empire is on a serious roll! Five weeks after John “Jack” Long won a $60 million Powerball® jackpot in Fontana, we know someone who purchased a Mega Millions ticket in the city of Calimesa won last night’s draw and is suddenly $180 million richer!

“The winning ticket matched all six numbers: 5-31-34-41-74 and Mega number 3. The estimated cash option for this jackpot is a lump sum amount of $107 million before federal taxes.

“While we don’t know who the winner is yet, we do know this now very valuable lucky ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 301 County Line Road in Calimesa (Riverside County). This retailer is also a big winner! It will receive retailer bonus check of $900,000 (one half of one percent of the jackpot amount) for selling the winning ticket.

“Needless to say, the winning ticket is suddenly a very important slip of paper. The California Lottery strongly urges the winner to sign the back of their ticket, obviously keep it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials, or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Players have one year from the date of the draw to claim the jackpot.

“Mega Millions is played in California (and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers or one of the more than 4,000 Lottery Lucky Retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s Mega Millions site for more information on how to play.”
