'Dirty Dancing--The Classic Story On Stage' Has Only One Week Left at National Theatre in Washington, D.C.

There are only 10 days left to catch Dirty Dancing--The Classic Story on Stage at D.C.’s The National Theatre. The classic Catskill Mountains love story finally comes to life starring Jillian Mueller as 17-year-old Frances 'Baby' Houseman and Samuel Pergande as stud muffin McGee Johnny Castle.

The Dirty Dancing musical maintains the original premise, costume design and soundtrack of the 1960’s timepiece film. The play features signature DD hit songs, “Hungry Eyes,” by Eric Carmen, “Hey!Baby,” by Bruce Channel “Do You Love Me?” by The Contours and staple tear-jerker “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life," by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.

Happily, Dirty Dancing the musical stocks up fully on original sonic material with Classicalite favorites Gene Chandler, The Chantels, The Drifters, Marvin Gaye, Lesley Gore, Mickey & Sylvia, The Surfaris, Doris Troy and Django Reinhardt.

The cult classic 1980’s movie about learning how to dance and engage in intercourse in the not-so-innocent 1960’s will remain on stage in D.C. until September 14.

Show times for entire run are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thusrday evening at 7:30pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00pm and evening at 8pm and Sunday matinee at 2:00pm with an evening show at 7:30. Tickets are available here.
