No Morning Joe: Kathie Lee and Hoda Bring 11-Year-Old Violin Prodigy Dylan Hamme On-Air to Meet His Idol, Joshua Bell

With more tact and grace than most, 11-year-old Dylan Hamme frequents New York's 5th avenue tourism district (because where else is more fitting to busk?) with his violin and a sign that cites his all-time favorite player: Joshua Bell. To his surprise, he finally was granted the opportunity to meet the Bell.

If there's anything redeeming about Kathie Lee and Hoda in the afternoon, it's that they brought a wonderful youth to the frontlines, giving him a small section to strut his musical stuff and meet his idol.

And as stated, when Bell steps into view and drops a few coins in his case, Hamme refuses to cease playing. A true musician dedicated to his craft, unphased by the world around him (until Kathie Lee finds the nerve to stop his arm, which warrants the question: who gave her a show, again?).

Without practice, the pair run some Bach for violin and keep the ears of the public on them, even when they aren't noticeable on the street. By the way, Joshua Bell did disguise himself and play in D.C. rush hour and hardly found any recognition.

And yet, perhaps the only thing better than talking about youthful talents is reading about them, and thus we have the video for you below.
