Double Moon Records to Release Bjork Tribute 'Constellations' by Karl Latham, Ryan Carniaux and Mark Egan in October

Set to be released on Double Moon Records in October, Constellations is the debut album from drummer Karl Latham, trumpeter Ryan Carniaux and bassist Mark Egan.

Constellations is a Bjork project featuring creative interpretations of her music. The project, dubbed the Desired Constellation is the brainchild of Latham after perpetual listening sessions of Bjork’s Volta. Latham is no stranger to paying homage to Bjork. His ”Pagan Poetry” single off of album Resonance has her name all over it.

They have released a few racks from Constellations on Soundcloud under the Desired Constellations moniker with appropriately enough Northern Lights album art. The auditory effect, as desired, is blissful soundscapes transporting the listener everywhere at once.

What’s more? Latham, Carniaux and Egan have released a video on the making of Constellations. At a little under eight minutes, they give behind the scenes info on the making of the album, how the concept came alive and live performances.
