Just a few short weeks ago everyone and their mother was predicting that Sean Penn and his hot new Hollywood girlfriend, Charlize Theron, would be married before they came back from shooting their new movie together in South Africa. Well, according to the latest gossip news updates you can forget any talk about getting pregnant or engaged for a while, because now the couple seems ready to split not get married. Apparently, production on The Last Face may be the last time Sean and Charlie ever see each other.
It's hard to believe that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are having serious relationship issues after seeming so happy just a short little while ago, but word has it there is plenty of trouble in paradise.
Despite seeming like the man of her dreams while in the northern hemisphere, a supposed insider told OK! Magazine for their September 15, issue that Penn was absolutely driving her mad while on set in South Africa:
"In everyday life, Sean is pretty easygoing, but he turns into a completely different person on set, especially when he is directing.
"He is a perfectionist and has been very critical of her acting...It's driving her insane."
According to the insider, Sean seems to feel that either Charlize is holding back or is just not a very committed actress:
"Charlize has said that she feels like nothing she does is ever good enough for Sean on this film.
"He constantly has her redo her scenes, critiquing how she delivers her lines or saying she isn't bringing enough passion."
The inside source tells OK! that this is not what Charlie though she was signing up for when she agreed to follower the man of her dreams down to her native South Africa:
"The man [Sean] turns into on set isn't the man she fell in love with.
"The whole experience of working together is definitely putting a strain on their relationship."
Let's hope these two crazy kids hurry up and get married before their next Hollywood blockbuster breaks them up for good.
