Ladies' Code member RiSe has died after spending several days in a comatose state. As we previously reported, RiSe suffered severe head trauma in the fatal car accident on September 3 that took EunB's life.
Although a 9 hour emergency surgery was performed; RiSe's blood pressure dropped significantly low. The surgeon had to immediately stop and postpone surgery until her condition stabilized.
Due to the drop in blood pressure, RiSe was in the ICU for 3 days in an unconscious state. Ultimately, she passed away today. Her exact time of death was 10:10 am KST.
It has been reported that RiSe had her family and agency staff members by her side at the time of her death.Her passing, much like EunB's is likely to continue a wave of grief over the K-pop community as fans and members of the music industry mourned their loss.
No specific plans for RiSe's wake and funeral have been arranged as of yet.
Fellow ladies Code member Sojung remains hospitalized. Due to her condition she has yet to receive the news of EunB's passing.
"Since her condition is still serious, the doctors advised us not to tell her the news yet. She needs stability before her surgery," a representative stated.
