It seems that Hilary Duff is going to actually get divorced from her husband, Mike Comrie, the retired NHL player with a family net worth in the hundreds of million, before she even considers how she feels about all of Aaron Carter's desperate and kind of creepy attempts at getting back together via Twitter. According to the latest gossip news updates, Hilary finally spoke up about all the tweets that the boyfriend she had at 16 keeps posting for all the world to see. In a recent interview the "All About You" singer explained that when she and Mike have completely given up on their marriage, they will file for divorce, but until that day comes she doesn't really even know what she is supposed to think about Aaron Carter's love sick nonsense.
If you guessed that all the Instagram birthday wishes and time spent together in public was a clear indicator that Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are still very much in love, it appears you may have been right.
During a recent sitdown with the Kyle & Jackie O Show, Duff explained that she and Mike are working through things in a way that is comfortable for them, and they aren't really planning on getting a divorce (via Daily Mail):
"We're uncoupled for now...[But] if there wasn't a chance of getting back [together], we would have filed for divorce.
"I talk about this so much and I don't want to talk about this anymore,...But I spoke with [Mike] this morning, we really care a lot about each other.
"We just don't really care what anyone thinks. We're being totally honest about it."
Fair enough, but someone may need to explain that to Duff's boyfriend from way back in the day, Aaron Carter.
Aaron has been filling up Twitter with way too much humiliating information about his hounting regrets over long lost love, Hilary Duff, and his lifelong determination to get her back.
When asked by BuzzFeed about the odd tweets that Carter has been throwing up here and there in recent months, Duff seemd as uncomfortable as she was perplexed by the overly overt calls for them to get back together (via MTV News):
"I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that.
"I don't know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just...don't know each other...so...yeah."
Perhaps, someone should check the young man to make sure that Aaron doesn't have whatever put Amanda Bynes out of commission...because something is definitely off there.
