Now that Instagram bikini feet model, Mariah Carey, and her America's Got Talent host husband, Nick Cannon are publicly getting divorced, the Butterfly singer's old American Idol nemesis Nicki Minaj is ready to exploit the split. Since the "Anaconda" booty bouncer already has a fiancé, she won't be able to perform the ultimate coup of dating the Wild N' Out star, but according to the latest gossip news updates, Nicki is planning to make some music with him. Reports are starting to surface that Cannon may have to put his career on hold to battle Mariah for full custody of their children. Some folks say that whether or not Nick was ever actually cheating is still very much up in the air, but Carey's drunk behavior has been noticed by almost everyone that comes into contact with her.
It seems that Mariah Carey would have you believe that in light of her failed marriage to Nick Cannon, she is going to just focus on touring behind her equally tragic new album.
Adding a little boost to the media blitz, is People Magazine, clearly taking the bait and reporting that Carey is simply switching on her business brain and off her heart:
"The mom of two has been doing just that, sticking to her plan to focus on her children and upcoming tour in the midst of her split with husband Nick Cannon."
A supposed friend of Mariah's claimed in Life & Style's September 22, issue that Carey wasn't doing anywhere near as well as she would like you convinced, and she hasn't been for some time:
"[Mariah] has a history of mental health issues...she has a huge ego and cannot take failure in any way.
"Mariah has changed so much in one year--she looks wiped out... Her drinking has gotten out of control lately."
Adding insult to injury is reportedly Nicki Minaj, who hasn't forgotten her abuse at the hands of Mariah on American Idol and has sworn to get her revenge.
According to a Star Magazine insider, who is quoted in their September 22, issue, Nicki is super excited that Mariah's life is falling apart and hopes she can do at little something extra to make things for the love sick diva even worse:
"Nicki's got no sympathy for Mariah--she saw firsthand what a demanding nightmare she is.
"She says Mariah completely drove Nick away. She'd yell at him, complain and freak out if he didn't call her back in minutes.
"She still hates Mariah with a passion...Nicki wants to work with Nick on a song together."
Who gives a fig about the song...wait until Mariah gets a load of the music video.
