It looks like rumors that Beyonce could be pregnant with baby bump number two could potentially be true. These latest claims come after reports that Beyonce and Jay Z are headed towards divorce over Jay's alleged cheating, which is rumored to have started the elevator fight between him and Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles.
For months now, we've seen reports that Jay Z and Beyonce, hip-hop's preeminent power couple, are going to breakup. But those rumors now appear a little less likely, thanks to Jay Z.
Instead of divorce allegations, the latest buzz suggests that Bey and Jay could be welcoming a new baby into the world. According to Vanity Fair, these rumors got started from Jay Z, himself, and not from the tabloids:
"Jay Z, reportedly changed the lyrics of one of his songs to say 'cause she's pregnant with another one' while performing in Paris. So that seemed to confirm it. Beyoncé would bear another heir, just as Duchess Catherine, locked up in a palace across the sea, plans to do sometime next year. Should Bey and Jay's first child, Blue Ivy, not take a liking to the Duchess's eldest, Prince George, then maybe these two children can make it work somehow."
While rumors that Beyonce is pregnant are looking more likely, claims that Beyonce and Jay Z are headed towards divorce seem much more improbable.
This is due in large part to Beyonce's dad, Mathew Knowles. The pop star's dad recently sat down with KRBE, where he was more than willing to discuss his daughter's relationship with Jay Z.
According to Mathew, the elevator fight and divorce rumors were masterminded by the couple, in an effort to increase their net worth:
"Mathew Knowles thinks the Beyonce/Jay Z divorce rumors ... and even the infamous Solange elevator fight video ... were both carefully orchestrated by the duo to drive up ticket sales...Beyonce's dad was on KRBE in Houston where he theorized all the recent turmoil around the couple was simply a 'Jedi mind trick' they orchestrated as a way to make their summer tour super popular."
It turns out that Beyonce's dad isn't the only family member to dispel those pesky breakup rumors. That distinction also belongs to Bey's mom, Tina Knowles.
TMZ caught up with Tina after a luncheon with Kelly Rowland, where she insisted that the couple are happier than ever:
"Beyonce and Jay Z are NOT breaking up ... in fact, their relationship is 'perfect' ... so says a woman who would definitely know -- Beyonce's mom...Tina Knowles was leaving lunch with Kelly Rowland at Via Alloro in Bev Hills -- and in a super-rare moment, actually opened up about rumors that B and J's marriage is on the rocks...Mama Knowles even had some choice words for people like Akon."
