Twilight star Robert Pattinson has finally offered up what it was like dating former girlfriend Kristen Stewart. The heartthrob actor may have needed to wait until 2014, long after their initial breakup, before he was capable of expressing his feelings. Then again, he may have just moved on, as new rumors suggest Pattinson is seeing recording artist FKA twigs.
When it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the world is absolutely obsessed with their on-again, off-again relationship. From the looks of things this week, it appears that they may have finally settled on the off-again phase.
In a recent interview with Esquire UK, Rob was asked about his breakup with Kristen (the first one, where she hooked up with that director). Pattinson came across very mature, when he told readers (via Headlines and Global News):
"S*** happens, you know? It's just young people ... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a s***? The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict, like in that scene in 'Doubt' [with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman] where he's talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you've got to go and collect all the feathers."
Though Robert has always seemed relatively evolved, there may be another reason he's been able to move on from Kristen. And it could have a little something to do with FKA twigs.
Though neither celeb has confirmed they're dating, numerous photos have been published of the duo spending time together. And according to the September 22 print edition of Star, love is in the air:
"[Robert Pattinson] was recently spotted leaving the NY city restaurant Gemma with hip British chanteuse FKA Twigs, and friends say the two have been quietly dating for a few weeks. Though it's still too early to tell, many believe this new romance has staying power...their relationship is 'the real deal and getting more serious by the day."
