David Lynch's Iconic 'Eraserhead' Gets a 4K Makeover by the Criterion Collection

The uniquely twisted noir-inspired film from the idioscyncrasies of David Lynch, Eraserhead, will receive a new 4K digital restoration from the Criterion Collection. Of course, this comes only under the supervision of Lynch himself.

From 1977, Eraserhead is the cult-classic that launched David Lynch's career to new heights. His continued influence on many artists is what makes Lynch not just an idyllic demigod, but also a worthwhile artist.

Made even more beautiful by Blu-ray, the Criterion package includes a series of gifts for the clinically insane Eraserhead viewership.

This includes, according to Paste Magazine:

Eraserhead Stories, a 2001 documentary by Lynch on the making of the film.

Six Lynch short films, such as the eerily titled Six Men Getting Sick, The Amputee, and Premonitions Following an Evil Deed.

A new documentary featuring interviews with actors Charlotte Stewart and Judith Roberts, and cinematographer Frederick Elmes.

More archival interviews with Lynch.

The trailer.

And, as if that wasn't enough, an illustrated booklet with more interviews.

You can place an order here and keep yourself satisfied with the trailer below.
