It almost time for the return of all your favorite fall TV shows, however, not all your favorite cast members of some of your favorite shows will be coming back. One show that promise is a main cast member death is NBC’s Chicago Fire. The show stars House M.D. vet Jesse Spencer. Recently, Chicago Fire showrunner Matt Olmstead opened up to TV Guide, where he confirmed that someone will not be surviving the aftermath of the Season 2 finale.
"Not everybody makes it out of that building, and then certainly what people deal with in terms of the loss of whomever that character is, that's definitely what we're dealing with in the first episode and beyond."
The official plot synopsis for next Tuesday’s Season 3 premiere episode, titled “Always,” could give us some hints as to who will die:
“Boden and the rest of the Firehouse 51 team deal with the explosion's aftermath in the Season 3 opener. Meanwhile, Casey searches for Severide, who's gone missing; Newhouse has surprising news about Mills' family; and Hermann and Otis make a decision about Molly's.”
