It looks like Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes could be engaged and planning a surprise wedding. These latest rumors come after Eva's recent pregnancy and claims that the couple would soon be parting ways.
For over a year, rumors that Eva and Ryan are going to breakup have flooded the tabloids. That all changed, however, when it was revealed that Eva was pregnant.
Of course, tabloids won't be able to cover Eva being pregnant anymore, because the happy couple just welcomed into the world their first child. According to E! News, Ryan and Eva are now the parents of a healthy baby girl:
"It's official! Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are the proud parents of (what we can rightfully assume) a beautiful, newborn baby girl...the actress gave birth to the couple's first child in Los Angeles. No other details are available at this time...A source confirmed the surprising news of Mendes' pregnancy after it was first revealed in July she was seven months pregnant..."
That announcement left OK! Magazine embarrassed this week, as the popular U.S. tabloid claimed that she was having a boy. Not only did they make the incorrect claim, but they also decided to feature the story on the cover of their September29 print edition.
The tabloid went on to report that Eva and Ryan may be planning a surprise wedding. According to one unnamed source, Ryan has already proposed:
"Ryan has really stepped up in the past few months. He totally surprised Eva when he proposed. He told her he's never been so happy and that although they had both said marriage wasn't important, he wanted to make it official for their child. Of course, she said yes."
The publication went on to report that Eva is already planning their surprise wedding.
According to the same insider, the two will be paying tribute to each other's heritage. Eva wants their wedding to be in Canada, and Ryan would love to go to Cuba for the honeymoon:
"Eva wants to wear a simple cream-tone shirt with a faux-fur cloak, as it will be pretty cold...Ryan wanted to go to Cuba in honor of Eva's heritage, but she vetoed it because her family doesn't support the political leadership..."
