The hit Disney Channel series, Austin & Ally is all new tonight. The show stars R5’s Ross Lynch, who is leading the cast of the sequel to the hit musical, Teen Beach Movie. The official plot for tonight’s all new episode of Austin & Ally, titled “Videos & Villains,” reads:
“Austin disappears just before his scheduled performance on ‘Video Countdown Live.’ It's soon discovered that Brooke is holding him captive until he writes a song for her.”
Fans will soon be able to see Ross Lynch back on the shore in Teen Beach Movie 2.
Director, Jeffrey Hornaday spoke to Hollywood Life about the sequel:
“If they feel like they have a story that’s worth telling, they’ll put all their energy and support behind it. I like that they don’t go somewhere with things when they don’t know what to do; once they zero in on something organic, like the last one was, I’m sure they’re going to jump in hard!”
Returning cast members include: Ross Lynch, Maia Mitchell, Grace Phipps, Garrett Clayton, John DeLuca, Jordan Fisher Will Loftis, Chrissie Fit, Kent Boyd Jessica Lee Keller and Mollee Gray.
