It's official, Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kris Jenner is divorcing her longtime husband, Bruce Jenner. This latest announcement comes after rumors that the former Olympian is undergoing a sex change. Whether the breakup is really over Bruce's shaved Adam's apple and luscious ponytail remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain-Kris Jenner wants out.
After stating in numerous interviews that she and Bruce Jenner would not be filing for divorce, Kris Jenner did a total 180. In official court documents filed in Los Angeles, Kris cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split.
According to New York Daily News, Kris wants to split all of their assets, including their underage daughter Kylie:
"The Kardashian momager filed papers in Los Angeles on Monday to divorce the Olympian, 11 months after announcing their separation...In the filing, which cites irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split after 23 years of marriage, Kris requests joint custody of daughter Kylie, the only one of their kids who is still a minor."
This latest announcement comes after months of rumors that her estranged husband is in the process of getting a sex change. In addition to having his Adam's apple shaved, Bruce Jenner has been taking serious heat for his unruly ponytail.
Of course, much of the shade is being thrown by his own family members.
Sure, Kris Jenner is on record as hating Bruce's new hairstyle, but it's Khloe Kardashian who took things to the next level.
Khloe sarcastically attacked Bruce on a recent teaser clip for the family's hit reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. According to Reality TV Magazine, Khloe and the rest of the Kardashian clan have intensified their efforts to convince Bruce to cut his hair:
"Instead of leaving Bruce alone, the Kardashian gals decided to amp up their efforts. In a recently released clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe went on the attack. 'Your ponytail looks cute. You wouldn't want to maybe cut it all off to make it healthy and start from scratch?'"
