After a promising start, it looks like Amanda Bynes was arrested again in 2014. Her latest DUI comes shortly after the end of her parental conservatorship. Just a short time after completing rehab and a mandatory (and prolonged) psych hold, the actress is presently missing.
Just when things were looking great for Amanda Bynes, the troubled actress took a turn for the worse.
She was arrested for her second DUI early Sunday morning. While some details remain unknown about the arrest, E! Online is reporting that Amanda was not drunk, but instead on drugs-which may have been prescribed to her:
"The 28-year-old starlet, who seemed to be healthily rebounding after a slew of legal troubles and other issues culminated in a nearly six-month hospitalization last year, was arrested very early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. According to authorities, it was determined at the California Highway Patrol West Valley Office that she was under the influence of a yet-to-be-revealed controlled substance."
Some media outlets are suggesting that the controlled substance involved is Adderall. While these reports have yet to be confirmed, others suggest marijuana was involved as well.
Since the arrest, Amanda has not made a comment.
This likely has something to do with the fact that she has not been spotted in public following her release. In fact, Bynes' own family have no clue where she is, as USA Today tells readers:
"Not even Amanda Bynes' father Rick Bynes knows where his daughter is, following her arrest for DUI on Sunday...She was released on bail, but her parents have not spoken to her. In fact, they found out about the bust when reporters contacted them."
