Dmitri Hvorostovsky Returns To New York Following Performances Across Europe To Sing ‘Rodrigo’ In Verdi's ‘Don Carlo'

Internationally acclaimed Russian baritone singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky returns to New York following his performances across Europe. Hvorostovsky will sing Rodrigo in Verdi's opera titled 'Don Carlo.'

Hvorostovsky will star in Metropolitan Opera starting February 22, 2013, till March 16. Verdi's epic vision of the Spanish Inquisition will be delivered by a stellar cast including Ramón Vargas in the title role, Anna Smirnova as Eboli, Barbara Frittoli in the role of Elisabeth, Ferruccio Furlanetto in the role of Philip II. Maestro Lorin Maazel will conduct.
