Tonight, ABC’s new series Black-ish is back with an all new episode. The show starring Anthony Anderson, (Transformers, Law & Order) Laurence Fishburne (Hannibal, The Matrix), has already come under fire for some pretty dumb reasons. Recently, Donald Trump suggested that show was racist, tweeting up a Whiteish outrage over the title.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Black-ish, titled “The Talk,” reads:
“Dre insists on giving Andre Jr. ‘the talk,’ a decision he soon comes to regret when he's inundated with nonstop questions about sex from his curious son.”
Earlier today, Apprentice mastermind and bankruptcy expert, Donald Trump did something completely Donald Trumpish when he tweeted his frustrations with the show, writing:
“How is ABC Television allowed to have a show entitled ‘Blackish’? Can you imagine the furor of a show, ‘Whiteish’! Racism at highest level?”
Trump isn’t alone in his criticism. Later in the day, NFL player Darnell Dockett also commented on the new series, writing on his Twitter:
“How is ABC Television allowed to have a show entitled ‘Blackish’? Can you imagine the furor of a show, ‘Whiteish’! Racism at highest level?”
OK, well come to think of it that was the exact same thing that Donald Trump tweeted. Funny, it sounded a lot less racist when he said it.
