What would October be with a few super sexy vampires. Tonight, The CW gets into the spirit of the month with the Season 6 premiere of The Vampire Diaries. Check out the official plot preview below to see what is in store, Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena, (Nina Dobrev), Stefan (Paul Wesley), Bonnie (Kat Graham), and the rest of residents of Mystic Falls.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new Season 6 premiere episode, titled “I'll Remember,” reads:
“Season 6 begins with Elena returning to Whitmore College for the start of sophomore year. Meanwhile, Caroline becomes desperate to reverse the anti-magic spell the Travelers put over Mystic Falls; Tyler has a run-in at a football tailgate; Matt worries that Jeremy is dealing with the loss of Bonnie in a self-destructive way; Alaric struggles to adjust to his new life as a vampire; and Elena learns the truth about what Stefan has really been up to.”
When we last saw Nina Dobrev’s Elena had just lost her friend, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and on-agian-off-again lover, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to the Other Side. Now Nina Dobrev is opening up to TV Guide about what kind of state we can expect to see Elena in this season:
"She's not coping in the healthiest way. She misses both [Bonnie and Damon] and is incredibly heartbroken and lost without them, but it's so much for her to handle that she can't allow herself to let all those feelings overwhelm her."
