ABC ‘The View’ Cast News: Whoopi Goldberg Puts Co-Host Rosie O’Donnell in Time Out? [GOSSIP UPDATE]

Apparently tensions are running high between some cast members on the new set of ABC's day time TV panel talk show The View. According to the latest gossip news updates, Whoopi Goldberg let co-host Rosie O'Donnell have it during one verbal exchange that reportedly occurred in front of the live audience. Rosie Perez is rumored to have saved the day with a tension diffusing joke, but otherwise, god only knows what may have erupted between the post-menopausal starlets. Word has it that the producers are thinking about adding a time-out room to Barbara Walters old baby, to give the hot-headed celebrities a place to go and cool off out of sight from the set.

If Rosie O'Donnell thought she would return to the set of The View after a seven year absence and start telling Whoopi Goldberg what for, she apparently has another thing coming.

According to several reports Whoopi Goldberg lost her cool when Rosie O starting acting super-offended that the comedienne had cut her off to go to commercial.

One witness told Radar Online that O'Donnell just wouldn't let the perceived slight go--even though Whoopi was only acting on the producers' wishes to pause for a sponcered break:

"As soon as they went to commercial break, Rosie took the handheld microphone that they use to engage the audience.

"Instead of talking to the crowd, Rosie spoke directly to Whoopi in the mic that she 'hurt my feelings,' and that she was 'very upset by it' and 'didn't appreciate' what Whoopi had done."

"I just don't appreciate you saying that you were going to do something and not doing it.

"It makes me upset and I just don't want to have to go through this."

That is when, the witness recounts, Goldberg--utterly fed up after asking to talk about it later--told Rosie O'Donnell where to go with her hurt feelings and handheld micriophone:

"F-ck it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don't want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie, I will dammit. I'm really sick of your sh-t!"

The fair and balanced folks over at the Daily Mail claim the the ABC producers are now considering installing a special place that the ladies can go when they are feeling a bit more peeved than usual:

"A recent fight between Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies."

Way to set a good example for the newcomers ladies...so much for aging gracefully.
