Jennifer Lopez and ‘DWTS’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dating Split: Ex-Boyfriend Puff Daddy Talks Booty’s Place in History? [VIDEO]

Things may be over between American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and her Dancing with the Stars champion, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, for now, but from the sound of things she can always get back with Sean "P Diddy" Combs. According to the latest gossip news updates, J Lo has been seen spending a lot of time with Casper Smart despite their split after his alleged affair with a transgender model on Twitter, but the rapper formerly known as Puff Daddy is the ex-boyfriend that truly can't get the former Fly Girl's derriere out his mind. Even though they split up years ago, Combs still claims that Lopez booty will go down in history. Sean John said that there wasn't ever a comparison between Jennifer's backside and the dump truck on Kanye West's wife, Kim. The hip-hop mogul apologized to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians it couple, but explained that after three years together he knew firsthand that that ass was "something special."

Ever the wordsmith--when given the opportunity to wax poetic about the badonkadonk on former love of his life, Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs could barely control himself.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, Mr. Diddy talked about his former girlfriend's hind-end like it was the Mona Lisa, but with passion of medieval crusader instead of a scholarly professor:

"I mean, [her booty] is great. It's a work of art...It's something that will go down in history, for real it will.

"But also her talent, her drive, her determination.

"She will never give up. She's a great friend of mine, always will be my friend, and I mean [her butt] is just incredible, man. That thing is just you know...

"No offense to Kim and Kanye...but that thing right there is something special."

You might have guessed from her latest music video with Iggy Azalea, "Booty", that Jennifer Lopez found the objectification to be flattering instead of degrading.

Lopez told Us Weekly that she will always have a special place in her heart for her little "Puff Daddy":

"Puffy--he'll always be Puffy to me. We spent three years of our lives together, almost every single day.

"And as much as he roots for me, and as proud as he is of me and of the time we had together, I am just as proud to see what he's done."

Not to be a Debbie downer...but didn't she something about letting him drown given the chance a little earlier in the year?
