In quite a contrast of situations since publicly acknowledging their split, America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon is having to make sure that people realize that he isn't sleeping with super-hot Instagram bikini model Amber Rose--who just recently filed for divorce from her husband Whiz Khalifa after allegedly catching him cheating--while everyone is seemingly claiming that Mariah Carey is falling apart in the wake of the breakup. According to the latest gossip news updates, the over eating and drinking is causing a newly fat "Butterfly" singer to spend all her time stressing instead of working on hitting those high notes. In the meantime both Amber Rose and Cannon have made public statements that they are not now, nor have they ever been sleeping together.
It would seem that just minutes after putting out the word that things were over with Mariah Carey that people figured that a stud like Nick Cannon had to already being sleeping with a slew of new woman.
After announcing that he was going to managing the recently single Amber Rose, however, folks quickly got the idea that perhaps there was something more than just a lucky coincidence at play there.
During a recent trip to The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, the entertainment mogul explained that it was still way too soon to be talking about anything like that let alone actually doing it (via Huffington Post):
"I think that the wound is too fresh to even be thinking about that right now.
"That's someone I'm managing...I'm really excited about everything she is about to do in her career and building her brand.
"I manage a lot of people, but obviously that's one, because she is in the news as well and kind of a public figure, people just kind of latched on to that as the media does at times."
According to E! News, Amber Rose said that the story about her sleeping with Nick is the biggest lie she has ever heard concerning herself, but did congratulate him on getting to have sex with her in a rumor.
A source claiming to have behind the scenes deets about Mariah Carey insisted in Star Magazine's October 27, issue that Cannon's old lady was far more worried about her next meal than her next lover:
