Though the Scandal guest star knows it would no doubt warm the cockles of every American's heart, Portia de Rossi recently explained to Jimmy Kimmel, of all people, that she nor her day time talk show host wife, Ellen DeGeneres, want any babies. Despite the constant rumors that the Arrested Development actress was either pregnant or looking into surrogacy and adoption, the svelte blonde claims that she isn't even fit to be left alone with her brother's kids. According to the latest gossip news updates, Mario Lopez admitted on Ellen to sleeping with a major pop star in the past and word has it it's Britney Spears. So much more being the kind of gentleman who doesn't kiss and tell.
Portia de Rossi knows the news is going to break your heart, but she just doesn't want to have any babies with Ellen DeGeneres--and America can't make her.
During a recent chat on Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show she admitted that though she and her wife are quite fond of other people's children, that is where the attraction to parenting ends (via ABC News):
"At this point, I feel like I'm disappointing the whole of America, not just my mother. You know?
"It's true. The tabloids are at me. My mother's at me...
"My brother's way too smart to leave me alone with his children! It's supervised play, Jimmy.
"They're adorable and we love them and we play with them, and then we leave."
Speaking of revealing admissions, Mario Lopez recently admitted on Ellen's show that he once had a hot one night stand with a famous pop diva back in the day, but refused to say who out of respect for his wife, Courtney Mazza:
"She's totally cool and she knows everything, but out of respect for her and out of respect for this person... you know, I'm a gentleman and I don't like to drop names so I'm not going to go there."
According to the amazing detectives at Us Weekly, they have figured the mystery out, however, and the notch on Mario's Saved by the Bell belt reportedly belongs to none other than Britney Spears:
"At the time of their hookup, both Spears and Lopez were single.
"The pop princess split from husband Kevin Federline in 2006, while Lopez was on a break with then-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff from 2006 to 2008."
It's hard to say which of these revelations is more disheartening, but at least you don't taste vomit in the back of your throat whenever you think about Ellen and Portia adopting.
