Kendra Wilkinson's Cheating Husband and Trans Divorce Rumors FAKE, New Season Sees Ratings Boost? [UPDATE]

It looks like rumors that Kendra Wilkinson may be divorcing her husband Hank Baskett, who has been accused of cheating on his wife with a trans YouTube model, may be false. In fact, some have suggested the entire premise of this season's Kendra on Top could just be an effort to boost ratings.

Over the past few months, we've seen a number of comparisons between True Tori and Kendra on Top, most of which appear warranted.

After all, both women-Tori Spelling and Kendra Wilkinson-have went through major life crises, when it just so happened that a film crew was around to capture the drama for their reality shows.

And like True Tori, Kendra on Top has been accused of faking a major scandal prior to filming.

With True Tori, the scandal revolved around Dean McDermott cheating on Tori Spelling while in Canada.

Not to be outdone, Kendra on Top is focusing on Hank Baskett's alleged affair with a trangendered YouTube model. To make matters worse, the rumored hookup was said to take place immediately following the birth of the couple's most recent child.

But why would Kendra and Hank make up such a salacious rumor?

Ratings, of course.

According to Perez Hilton, the latest season of Kendra on Top debuted to its highest ratings yet:

the season three premiere set a series ratings record and has only GROWN in viewership from there!

"The premiere raked in just over one million viewers while it aired. Oh, and each episode has grown since than with an increasing average of 1.2 million viewers...Whether the scandal is real or not, it's been a hit for the show!"

Not to mention, Kendra and Hank have been spotted getting comfy with each other in public, despite going through such messy "marital problems."

But, according to Kendra, she's just trying to stay together for the kids:

"The one thing I can't forget about are these two kids. I was a kid at one point when my parents made a rash decision, and it hurt me still to this day. The one thing that cannot happen is making a quick decision, just based off of what the public thinks I should do. That's the worst thing I can do for myself, it's the worst thing I can do for my two kids."
