There has been a new update in the life of Amanda Bynes, who appears to be suffering from a decline in mental health. New rumors suggest that the actress could be dating Sam Lufti, following her recent arrest for DUI and drug use.
It's no secret that Amanda Bynes has been struggling for a few years now. If she's not throwing bongs out of windows or setting fires in the driveway of strangers, then she's busy hanging around with the wrong kind of person.
One of those wrong kind of people, some feel, is none other than Sam Lufti. Mr. Lufti has been very public about the assistance he has been providing Amanda, and many have wondered if Sam has Amanda's best intentions at heart.
And, judging from a recent post at Perez Hilton, Perez may share those sentiments:
"The notorious ex-manager of Britney Spears - Sam Lutfi - admits himself that the media mostly calls him words like 'shady' and 'svengali' but the most desperate man in Hollywood has written a new post to defend himself...And his very public relationship with Amanda Bynes...many are VERY wary of his strange inkling to be linked to the stars!"
Regardless of his assistance, it appears that Bynes is still struggling. This was certainly evident during her recent arrest.
While some details remain unknown about the arrest, E! Online is reporting that Amanda was not drunk, but instead on drugs-which may have been prescribed to her:
"The 28-year-old starlet, who seemed to be healthily rebounding after a slew of legal troubles and other issues culminated in a nearly six-month hospitalization last year, was arrested very early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. According to authorities, it was determined at the California Highway Patrol West Valley Office that she was under the influence of a yet-to-be-revealed controlled substance."
