Halloween is just one week away, and NBC knows how to celebrate. Just in time for the season, comes the Season 4 premiere of Grimm, followed by DC Comics Constantine. The all new series, stars Matt Ryan as the Justice League Dark member, Hellblazer John Constantine.

The official plot preview for tonight’s Season 4 premier of Grimm, reads:

“Nick adjusts to the loss of his Grimm powers and tries to figure out how to deal with Trubel as the fourth season opens. Meanwhile, Wu has an unpleasant flashback; a new group of Wesen come to Portland and steal people's memories; Capt. Renard fights for his life; and Adalind's desperation to find her child lands her in Prince Viktor's clutches.”

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new premier episode, titled “"Non Est Asylum," reads:

“A seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult gets pulled back into battling the worst hell has to offer in order to help the daughter of an old friend--and because there's the slightest possibility of saving his own damned soul--in the premiere of this supernatural thriller inspired by the DC comic book series ‘Constantine.’"

The show stars Matt Ryan as the titular character. Ryan might have a long future ahead of him as John Constantine. Guillermo del Toro is currently a Justice League Dark film, featuring John Constantine. Where it has been confirmed that DC film universe and TV show’s will not be connected, Guillermo del Toro has not ruled out casting Ryan for his version of the character.

During comic con 2014, Guillermo del Toro addressed a fan who asked about Dark Justice being turned into a Netflix series (via Comics Alliance) :

“We are deep in the screenplay writing phase. I think we see eye-to-eye, Warners and DC and myself, on what the movie is. I think it’s really, really well served as a movie. Then you can expand it.”
